Guinea: “Papa” Ladji Camara–from Les Ballets Africains, a jembe player. I recommend the biography!Also El Hadj Djeli Sory Kouyaté–balafonist from Ballet Djoliba w/history of the balafon;   Afafan Touré, a jembe player from Les Ballets Africains      Mali:  Abdoul Doumbia, a djembe and dundun player from Troup Babemba (a Malian national dance group) and  the Ballet National de Mali.
